Some direct sellers worry that if they recruit others into their company they will lose sales and customers. Some worry that they don’t have the experience or the time to train someone else or they don’t want the responsibility.
So why recruit? What benefits are there to you?
One benefit is leadership and the team building side of direct selling. Getting that promotion in your company and all the recognition, rewards and extra income that can bring. But what if that’s not for you? Why should you still recruit? Here’s a few reasons….
⭐ Because having someone to buddy up with keeps you and them motivated and excited about the business. It’s a well known fact that those who recruit even just one person are more likely to stay in the business longer and make more money than those that don’t.
⭐ Because it will drive you to be better and more consistent in your own business as you’ll have someone who looks to you for inspiration.
⭐ Sometimes there are small rewards for recruiting such as free product, cash or extra commission on their sales. Well worth bringing a friend or customer into the business for.
⭐ To build your confidence. Recruiting will help you learn and grow in the business as you share your knowledge with someone new to the company. Your upline leader will usually take on the majority of the training if you haven’t the experience yet, so don’t worry about the time and the pressure of bringing someone in, but just sharing tips you’ve learnt to start with will build your confidence and help you grow your business and earn more money.
⭐ Recognition. From your team, your upline, the company. There’s nothing like a bit of recognition to make you feel good!
